The Doctors

We have two full-time partners and two other doctors.

Practice Staff

Practice Manager

The practice manager co-ordinates and organises the management of the practice and its services and is also available to respond to any complaints or queries about the practice.

Reception Staff

We have a number of receptionists, all of whom are specially trained for the job. They will make appointments for you, answer the telephone, arrange repeat prescriptions and answer any queries to their best ability.

Practice Nurses

We have two practice nurses and a phlebotomist:

Suzanne Archer (Child Immunisations)

One nurse is responsible for the Treatment Room work, i.e. dressings, blood tests, ECG's and ear syringing; another is available for triage. The reception staff will usually ask you if the nurses can help you with an appointment. They will show you a list of issues that the nurses could help you with.

District Nurses

The district nurses are based at Trowbridge Hospital. They will visit housebound patients in their homes for simple procedures at the doctor's request.

Health Visitor

Our health visitor is Mary Hill. Most of her work is aimed at supporting and advising families with small children. She monitors children's development and runs a well baby clinic. The health visitor is responsible for her own appointments. The health visitor is often out of the surgery visiting families at home. The Midwives

There is a team of midwives who look after our expectant mums during their pregnancy, during labour and for the first few days after birth. They are based at Trowbridge Hospital and work in close conjunction with the doctors. Most of our ladies can be safely delivered in Trowbridge.
